PJR Engineering are at the forefront of lighting design and manufacture with the new breed of linear fluorescent, the energy efficient T5.

Whether it is a standard T5 product or bespoke design for retail, corporate or commercial applications, PJR will design and develop a solution, not only in T5, but perhaps T2, T8 or Compact Fluorescent.

Formed in 1974, PJR Engineering Limited began life as sheet metal fabricators operating for many agricultural, engineering and lighting companies.

This remained the case for about 19 years, until 1993, when a consortium looked for a company to acquire, that had the correct foundations and infrastructure that they could take, and mould in to a lighting design and manufacture house.

PJR Engineering fitted that brief!

With good premises, location, equipment and staff, the new Director’s set about redefining PJR!

The new Directors, with something like 75 years experience in the lighting industry, quickly began to look for new openings with new products.

Many of the agricultural and engineering customers were replaced by some of the U.K.’s most well known lighting companies, national shop fitters and high street names.

This is still the case today, where PJR continue to “engineer lighting solutions”, hence the reason why the name has remained.

Whilst always offering a complete design and production service, we also offer our own extensive standard product range, predominantly in T5, but some of the variants will be available in other light sources.

Our ever expanding T5 range gives lighting solutions to a multitude of applications – retail, corporate, hotels, domestic, industrial to name but a few, but if the standard range does not cater we are more than happy to design a solution to meet your brief.
